Our Trailer Range
At MetalconX, we offer a variety of standard enclosed trailer designs to suit a range of uses. While a large portion of our customers are motorbike owners, our enclosed trailers are used by clients for many different purposes from medical equipment, tradesmen and band equipment, through to professional BBQer’s!
All our enclosed models come with jockey wheels, a spare and alloy rims as standard. Our chassis and frames are all fully welded and constructed with Duragal steel and then finished with Aluminium checker plate skirting and aluminium composite panels. They are ADR compliant and approved under the new RVSA legislation with Vehicle Type Approval: VTA-061987 .

Enclosed Trailer Models
MXE-30 Series – MetalconX Enclosed trailer 3000 long, braked with single axle. There are currently 3 models available.
MXE-32 Series – MetalconX Enclosed trailer 3200 long, braked with single axle. There are currently 3 models available.
MXE-36 Series – MetalconX Enclosed trailer 3600 long, braked with single axle. There are currently 2 models available.
MXE-30PT Model
One of our originals….The MXE-30PT is large enough to load up all the toys with room for storage and is fully braked while still maintaining a single axle for easy manoeuvring. Light weight, with a fully welded galvanised steel frame and lined with alucobond, this trailer features a pop-up roof for easy access and a dropdown tailgate for quick loading.
MXE-30LR LOW RIDER
The MXE-30LR Low Rider model is designed specifically for customers needing lower ground clearance. Using either a drop axle or overlay axle, the floor sits closer to the ground and the drop down tail gate has a smaller angle when lowered. This trailer also features a pop-up roof for easy access and a dropdown tailgate for quick loading.
MXE-32PT Model
The most popular trailer in our range by far, the MXE-32PT enclosed trailer has the pop-top roof, is rated to 1500kg ATM and is 3200mm long. This is the perfect option for those wanting to include the front shelf and hatches while still maintaining plenty of room for bikes.
MXE-32LR Model
The MXE-32LR has all the great features of it’s 32PT counter-part but with the lowered ground clearance of the original Low Rider. Available with either a 4″ drop axle with electric brakes or a 50mm overlay axle with manual brakes, the lower ground clearance make loading a breeze and boy does it look good too!
MXE-32FR Model
With it’s fixed roof design, the height of this model has been increased to 1750mm which is great when you need more room inside. MXE-32FR enclosed trailer is rated to 1500kg ATM, is 3200mm long and includes gas struts on the rear door as standard. This model is a good option for those with bigger bikes or large equipment to carry.
MXE-36PT Model
This is the largest pop-top in our range and perfect when you need more space. The MXE-36PT enclosed trailer is rated to 1700kg ATM and is 3600mm long. The larger size is ideal for those wanting to include all the bells and whistles like the shelf, fridge slides, hatches and fold down beds while still maintaining plenty of room for bikes.
MXE-36FR Model
The newest and largest trailer in our range and perfect for those needing plenty of room to move, the MXE-36FR enclosed trailer is rated to 1700kg ATM and is 3600mm long. With it’s fixed roof design, the height of this model has been increased to 1750mm.
UPGRADES & ACCESSORIES
At MetalconX we don’t believe jockey wheels and spare tyres are an ‘optional extra’. These come standard with all of our trailer models. We do offer a variety of other upgrades and accessories for our base models though so you can customise the trailer and tailor it for your specific requirements.
